I’m down here in Phoenix Arizona or rather Scottsdale which is just outside Phoenix and I’ve just been corrected by a hundred people as I am in the process of showing them how their agents can quickly use social media on a daily basis.. And I decided to take a moment and share with you what I’ve learned from this morning’s presentations.
One of the first things I learned was from the CEO of Royal LePage Canada whose name is Phil Soper. He said that 91% of Canadians feel like an investment in their home is an excellent investment.
Then there was a guy from Atlas Van lines named Bob who really fired us up with a very inspirational talk about leadership and what that means in our businesses.
But the pièce de résistance came when the final speaker name Mike came on stage and talked about some very funny but highly engaging things like the six highest qualities of leadership. Do you know what they are?
Acceptance, take action, take responsibility, acknowledge progress, commit to doing different things and finally Kindle.
Kindle means to give new life to. However I personally think that while motivational information is great I also think that there are some have to’s on the way to your want to. How many of you would agree with that? Thank you.
Of course it’s always important to know the how to’s and because this is a training session one of the things that you need to realize is that if you’re going to have a major impact in your business you’re going to have to start disseminating information. It’s called education-based marketing.
So what I decided to do, rather than what I had prepared which was a bunch of stuff which you may or may not have found effective, was show you how one agent could have a major impact by disseminating information to their people. Things like building a mailing list and communicating value to that mailing list on a regular basis. Why? Because people don’t buy when you’re ready to sell.
This ends a quick blog and I’m going to publish it, then promote it using social media websites.
