Richard asks: I do not have a comment section on my web site and I am doing articles and sending Back links with Anchor texting, Do I need a blog comment system on my web site for articling and commenting to other web sites to be effective? Or when they reply it really does not matter, even from the EDU or GOV sites?
Paul responds: you do not need to have a blog comment system on your website for article marketing and or commenting on other websites to be effective. The main reasons to have a comment system on your website are;
- When you allow others to comment you are increasing the likelihood that you will be found in a Google search because Google search engine results pages pay close attention to content and the more content you have the higher you will rank.
- Having a comments system is an effective way to increase social interaction. People often give their opinions and ask questions allowing you to create trust, credibility and respect as a leader and an expert.
- Finally, because you have a comment system the general perception is that you are open to sharing and this increases the likelihood that people will read what you’ve written and comment on it.
I’m not sure what you mean by EDU or GOV sites because you are commenting on those sites does not necessarily mean that they will be commenting on yours and relationship between the two is for the most part irrelevant.
When you allow comments you increase the conversation between you and your audience. I highly encourage everyone to have a common system and the one that I likely would recommend for you is the DISQUS comment system which you can find on their website.

Thank you, it was a little unclear to me but now very clear. I had a friend
put my web site together, personal
training programs. with Go Daddy and I am not sure how to put in a Comment
box. Do you have any suggestions when I go to DISQUS?
……Thank you …Richard
